What makes Derry, a small American town, different from other towns is the existence of a creature that lives in the corridors under the sewer grates and shows itself sometimes in nightmares and sometimes in real life, a mysterious force that draws people into its dark world. Seven children, who fought this terrible creature many years ago and then left the town and built a new life for themselves, have now become adults and have forgotten the terrifying days they lived through. However, when the creature buried deep in their memories mobilizes again years later, they have to confront it once again. The nightmares of the past have now turned into a terrible reality in the present.
