This is a digitized and redesigned reprint in modern book quality of the original translation of Markandeya Purana from Sanskrit into English by M.N. Dutt (from 1896). The Markandeya Purana is probably one of the oldest in the Purana genre of Vedic literature. It is famous for including the Devi Mahatmya.
