Ivan Goncharov
Ivan Aleksandrovich Goncharov (1812 – 1891), was a Russian author, best known for his novels. Oblomov, published in 1859, is widely recognized as his best work. Centered around a character named Oblomov, the novel was inspirited by a short story written by Goncharov ten years prior titled Oblomov's Dream. An Episode from an Unfinished Novel.
