The Murders at Crawford’s Forest

Crawford's Forest hides more than Kate Warner can handle. She flees from her husband and changes her name. Kate settles at Two Rivers, a quirky outback town where tunnels are haunted by a ghost. When Kate discovers an old hidden book written by a young girl, Eugenia, she sets out to discover what happened to her. She enlists help from police officer Mike Derringer who recently arrived at Two Rivers, and together they unravel Eugenia's secret. When bodies are discovered at Crawford's Forest, Mike's faith in Kate is tested, and everything hinges on the help of a ghost. The story is set in the mid north around Australia's old gold mining and wine regions.
