Brendan, a seventeen-year-old with a criminal past, is on the run. Living on the streets of San Francisco, he follows his dream of becoming a successful hip-hop artist and modern day poet. With the help of some new friends and a family who once lost hope in him, he tries to make his dreams come true. With very little money and hunted by authorities, Brendan faces tribulations and a trial that could end his dream and place him back at square one. Will Brendan find success even with a shady past fueled by drugs and crime? Will he fail or prevail?
